Grading Policy

Daily Grades- 40%  

Daily grades will consist of different things.  It may be an activity we have completed that day or a participation grade.  In order to receive a good participation grade for the day you will need to have a positive attitude, follow the rules, and do everything that is expected of you.  

 

Tests-60%

Following each unit we will have a test.  These tests will be 60% of your six weeks grades.  A project or presentation will also count for test grades.  

SAE

Each student will be required to have a SAE plan and follow that plan during the year.  You will be required to keep record books and many other tasks.  Each six weeks your SAE will be evaluated and graded.  This grade will count for 2 test grades.  

 

Notebook Grades

Each 6 weeks a student will receive 1 notebook test grade.  This is based on your notebooks kept in class each day.  You will need to make sure all of your assignments are in your notebook in chronological order.
